The GTX from Michigan based coachbuilders Devon Motorworks is a Dodge Viper based machine and as such the overall shape is shared between the two vehicles. The Devon GTX is intended as a pure driver oriented vehicle which fuses simplicity, functionality and beauty.
Among the most striking visible features are the wheel surrounds over both the front and rear wheels which are finished in a different color to the rest of the body. The interior of the Devon GTX uses the old adage of "less is more" in its design philosophy. The clean and simple dashboard underlines this theme. The Devon Motorworks GTX is scheduled to be revealed at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours.
The RX-8 gets its first major update since its 2003 introduction. 2009 will see revised styling and a new R3 version with a stiffer suspension, extra body bits and additional interior ameneties.
